I am excited to welcome three new Senate colleagues, Senator Kyra Hoffner and Senator Russ Huxtable into the Democratic caucus, and Senator Eric Buckson to the Republican caucus.

Veteran Indicator

Veterans are now able to add a new Veteran Indicator to their driver license or identification card, thus eliminating the need for veterans to carry a separate card or official discharge forms in order to prove their service.

The Veteran Indicator designation is available to any Delaware veteran that served in the U.S. military and was honorably discharged. To obtain the Veteran Indicator, you must have a valid Delaware driver license or identification card and provide proof of military service by presenting a military ID, NGB-22, DD-214, honorable discharge certificate, or valid out-of-state driver license with veteran designation.

Community Health Update

With the holidays just around the corner, please do everything you can to protect the ones you love.

While COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations have been on the decline for months, our worst surges in 2020 and 2021 occurred just after Thanksgiving. Delaware is also seeing a large number of flu and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) cases this year. Taken together, these three viruses are already straining our hospitals and health care systems.
