Senator Poore has been a tremendous asset to ALL of the residents in the City of New Castle. The commitment and dedication she has to her constituents is evident in everything she does.

I can tell she’s got everything that it takes on the candidate side, and even more important to all of you, I know that she’s got what it takes to be really successful in representing you in Dover.

I recently read on social media of your intentions to seek re-election in the upcoming 2016 elections. I don’t often do so, but felt compelled to write and congratulate you on your decision. Since we met in the fall of 2011 and you conveyed your vision for the 121h Senatorial District, you have been a vocal and visible proponent for business in the district. For for that TRI-Supply & Equipment is grateful.

I have to commend you for staying in the forefront of the tough issues facing a public servant in a district that is heavily weighted by a heavy industrial commercial zoning co-mingled with a residential presence. I can speak first hand to your commitment in facilitating a relationship between the refinery and the local businesses, which is absolutely essential when it comes to both public safety and a neighborly relationship. I’ve also attended meetings coordinated by you between the HOA’s and business leaders that have resulted in open constructive dialogue and community unity.

Which brings me to the most rewarding part of the relationship that has been built between you and TRI-Supply & Equipment. Because of you we have become a proud member of the community. You got us involved with William Penn High Scholl when they needed lights for their football program. You got us involved with the Delaware City Fire Company. You got us involved with the Fort duPont Redevelopment. And most recently, the Delaware State BBQ championship in New Castle. And this is just to name a few.

Why is this important? Because it also gives our company’s employees the opportunity to gain involvement as well. Certainly, TRI-Supply & Equipment gets most of the credit for our contributions, but the credit should got to you for your resourcefulness in getting the business community together with the public sector, which needs help from time to time.
In closing, hopefully you can use this letter as a testimonial in your upcoming election so feel free to do so. Please know we will continue to support your efforts.

Having worked with Senator Poore over the past four years, I have seen her energy, honesty and integrity and know that when she commits to something, it will get done.

When our son was working on getting his Eagle Scout, Senator Poore was one of his biggest supporters! Every time she saw him she asked him how he was doing in his process. With so many constituents, for her to remember something so important is just one of the reasons she is an awesome senator!
