General Assembly’s Joint Sunset Committee Report for 2014
As Co-Chair of the Joint Sunset Committee, I took part in hearings this year to review the operations and performance of various state agencies. These hearings resulted in six pieces of legislation designed to make state government more efficient. The mission of the Sunset Committee is to address duplication of services and government organizational effectiveness.
