The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles plans to open a new 42,000-square-foot complex next year off U.S. 13 in Delaware City near Del. 1 and Del. 72/Wrangle Hill Road.

The new, larger facility will replace the current DMV site on Airport Road and will provide increased customer seating and more vehicle-inspection bays and parking.
